Kimmi and Hamish – a memorable wedding ceremony in Avignon

1_effected

Ok, this time I’ll post quite a lot of pictures because I like them all and it was hard to make a choice. It was my second time in Avignon this year and I have really enjoyed working there.

I was invited by Kimmi and Hamish, both living in Australia, to document a little ceremony among their best friends who couldn’t be there for their wedding, having place earlier this year.

This day was amazing for two reasons: frirstly because it was happening during Festival d’Avignon which makes the whole town colorful and full of attractions, secondly – because the theme of the party was the Jazz Age.

The ceremony took place in a cute B&B called Autour Du Petit Paradis. The patio was decorated by the bridesmaids who hung beautiful paper flowers. Everyone was taking polaroid pictures. We then walked (jumped?) trough the streets of Avignon, photographing all the way long until we reached the restaurant of Hotel d’Europe- 5 stars hotel where the dinner was served.

You don’t take a photograph.  You ask, quietly, to borrow it.

Cheri and Buddy – Wedding Vows Renewal photography

I came back from Poland and Croatia where I’ve spent a wonderful vacation and gained new forces for the wedding season.

I’m very lucky to have such a great wedding clients this year. Meet Buddy and Cheri, the renown winery owners from Temecula, California.
They’ve decided to renew their vows (30 years of marriage!) in south of France and stayed at the Chateau Eza where the ceremony took place.
The balcony looked amazing, being dressed in a floral composition of one of the best florists in France – Herve Frezal.

The view was also spectacular – over Saint Jean Cap Ferrat, that’s why so many couples chose Eze as their favourite wedding destination.
The ceremony was very touching thanks to lovely words of Anne Naylor – an experienced wedding celebrant and writer at Huffingtonpost.

After the ceremony we took some pictures at Chateau de la Chevre d’Or‘s gardens.
I didn’t need to direct them as they behaved as if they just met and fell madly in love!
The couple has asked me to convert some pictures to sepia while keeping the roses pink, which I did and I like the effect of it.

All the best to you Cheri & Buddy!
